Just facilitated the workshop for OCAC again. Incredibly proud of my group members for their motivation and dedication throughout the session, remaining open-minded regardless of their experience levels. It was an honor to facilitate discussions and coach them for a bit to ensure their conclusions aligned with their goals and visions.
I was fortunate to be part of a group with great energy, averaging around 90%, which kept the dynamics lively.
In this casual yet intensive workshop, we “unboxed” our vision together, categorizing concerns and tasks into “Keep Doing,” “Stop Doing,” and “Start Doing.” By applying the Keep-Problem-Try-Act structure, our group not only shared experiences and feelings but committed to “what we CAN do.”
Also shared some ideas privately with the group that might be included in their future actions. When changes are implemented, it’s crucial to prepare for change management and team mindset shifts. I introduced matrices to help the group think about the options and trade-offs they must deal with, the risks they might face, and how to manage them.
As an agilist and coach, I always strive to quickly respond to the needs of all stakeholders and encourage the team with a growth mindset. My journey with them may have ended, but I wish them a fulfilling and inspiring adventure that never ends.
Fun Fact 1: Here’s the digital copy of the posters. One downside of using digital collaboration tools is that they might cause bad handwriting 🥹 (that’s why I created a revised version in digital format).
Fun Fact 2: My pleasure to receive feedback from members, such as “Hope to continue this event” and “I could apply this to my organization.” But here’s an interesting feedback: what I shared is similar to an EMBA course but with a clearer and easier explanation to implement.
Fun Fact 3: Our group slogan was generated in a hurry while waiting to present. Young members used ChatGPT for inspiration, and the seniors helped modify it to rhyme. It was a great example of self-organized collaboration. Super proud of them.
